Wildflowers peak at Cedar Breaks national monument at the beginning to middle of July.

These images are from the Alpine Pond Trail on July 5 this year.
The trail is a 1- or 2-mile loop, depending on your chosen path. It is rated moderate due to its high altitude (over 10,000 feet). The reward is spectacular views of the “Breaks,” wildflowers, and wildlife.
I would rate the trail hike as easy, and fun for kids. However, the altitude can be a problem for those not used to such elevations.
AllTrails calls it a “Delightful loop trail to pond, flowers, magnificent view of Cedar Breaks.” Adding “This trip is a moderate-strenuous rating; if only due to the high elevation (over 10,500′)”
