Mike “Mish” Shedlock is a passionate fine art photographer whose work captures the joy of discovery and the fleeting beauty of the world around us.
Mish is the first two characters of his first and last names.
Operating under the brand Mish Moments, he specializes in museum-quality prints that transform walls into windows of wonder—vibrant landscapes, serene waterscapes, dynamic abstracts, wildlife, historic sites, and more.
His images are printed on premium archival materials including metal, canvas, and acrylic, ready to hang and designed to evoke emotion and storytelling.
Mish’s photography philosophy centers on more than pretty pictures; each image tells a story of time, place, and technique. Whether documenting the dramatic light of Utah’s national parks, the otherworldly landscapes of Iceland, or intimate moments in nature, his goal is to share the “special moment in life’s journey” and inspire viewers to make the most of their own adventures. He frequently provides insights into his process, from Lightroom and Photoshop workflows to equipment tips and field techniques.
After decades in Illinois, he and his wife Liz made the life-changing decision to escape the Midwest and relocate to southern Utah. Drawn by the magnificent red rock landscapes, towering canyons, and world-class national parks—especially Zion—they found endless inspiration and renewed creative energy. The move allowed Mish to immerse himself daily in the dramatic light and ever-changing desert scenery that now define much of his finest work.
Over his career, Mish has achieved approximately 80 magazine and book covers. Today, through MishMoments.com, he invites collectors to bring home these captured moments and experience the world’s beauty every day. His work celebrates exploration, technical mastery, and the simple joy of seeing deeply.

Whether you seek a bold statement piece for your home or office, or inspiration for your own photographic journey, Mish Moments delivers timeless art rooted in curiosity, travel, and a profound appreciation for the natural and cultural world.
