This is the fifth in a series of incredible archaeological structures in Southern Utah. It’s in in the Bears Ears National Monument cultural landscape.

These images are from a trip this year to the Blanding and Bluff areas of Southeast Utah.
The BLM does not require a special permit to visit this location, but you do need a monument pass. Kiosks are generally available at these sites but not this location.
Directions
The person who told me about this site said not to pass GPS instruction on. Here are general instructions, starting in Bluff, Utah, near the trading post.
Turn on Navajo Twins Road, continue 1/4 mile past the Twin Rocks Cafe and turn on Calf Canyon Road. Follow it 1/2 mile to a parking area. Past the paring area, the road is gated and private. Park near the gate.
There is a small public entrance gate where the trail starts. The panel is about a half mile in on the right at the base of a vertical cliff. If you get to a fence you have gone too far. Binoculars help in spotting the panel up on a ridge.
This is a long panel. A panorama stitch works best. The following image is cropped to a 3:1 aspect ratio. The lead image is a 2:1 aspect ratio. There is yet another horse on the right that would require an even larger view.

It’s a short hike, less than a mile round trip for a distant view of the panel with binoculars. It is a scramble on loose rock to get to a good vantage point for an image.

That’s a really cool panel, Mish! Great that you got such a good shot so far away and the panorama configuration is really effective.
I scrambled up to the top.
Impossible to get the image from below
Have you seen the Yea Buche (sp) picto near Twin Rocks restaurant. Friends have tried to locate it and couldn’t.
If you mean on sand Island, I have seen a lot of panels
Otherwise I don’t know
