Water Canyon is a challenging 6.6 mile out and back hike in the Dixie National forest near Hilldale, Utah. The waterfalls are best in the Spring. These images are from late April.

Feature Image Details
- EOS R5 Mirrorless Camera
- Canon 16-35MM F4 L Lens at 32 MM
- F16 seconds, ISO 200 for 1.0 seconds
This is a moderately rugged hike, because we went beyond the waterfalls for a climb to the top for a view looking down.

Hike St. George has directions and a downloadable map.
The waterfalls are only a 2-mile roundtrip for those who wish a shorter, easier hike.
Additional Waterfall Images

The above shots are all about a mile in. Hiking up higher there is an additional waterfall.

Here is a view towards the top looking down.

On the way out, right near the trail head I captured this reflection scene at sunset.
